首先高功率密度设计, UPS5000-E单模块功率密度可以达到18.4W每立方英寸,3U的空间内可以有40kVA的容量,600*850的单柜最大达到320kVA。同样容量下比友商节约一个19英尺机柜的面积。在安装方面系统还支持上下进出线方式,无论用户是上桥架走线还是下线槽走线,系统均可以满足用户的需求。
其次体现可用性方面还有模块化设计,易扩容,扩容平稳,无断电风险,只需提前预留好配电即可。模块化还有易维护的优点。任何设备不可能不坏,所以华为可靠性设计的原则是最好不出问题,出了问题不要影响业务,影响了业务要能够快速恢复。出了问题能够快速修复即使易用性的问题,也是可靠性的问题。对于模块化UPS,模块故障,只需要取出故障模块更换即可,只要维护人员经过简单的培训就可以进行维护,不像传统塔式UPS必须由厂家专门的技术人员维护。除UPS5000-E采用模块化设计外,华为的所有UPS产品均可以并机使用,当并机使用时,每台UPS均可以视为一个模块单元,都可以组成N+X的冗余设计方案。
为了保障电池的备电时间和可用性,华为UPS具有完善的电池管理功能,首先是支持电池节数16-20或30-40节可调,这有两个好处,一是做配置时可以精确实现客户的备电要求,二是一旦某节电池出了问题,可以将故障电池取出,旧电池可继续使用。由于新旧电池不能混用,对于电池节数不可调的UPS,如果其中1节电池出现问题,很可能就需要报废整组的旧电池组。再有华为UPS的充放电管理除了传统的均浮充管理外,还有电池休眠功能,在电网比较好的地区选择长休眠和短休眠。电网差的地区不休眠。休眠可以避免长期浮充导致电池极板钝化,备电时间缩短,从而起到延长电池寿命的作用。UPS不可以选配电池巡检仪,检测每节电池的状态,其次定期充放电,检测电池健康度,评估电池备电时间,如果电池备电时间缩水严重会发出告警,并且在充放电时也有一系列保护,如热失控告警,小电流放电保护等等。
华为全系列UPS还具有完善的管理监控功能。主机搭载7寸彩色触摸LCD显示屏幕,全图形化界面,可以实时显示每个模块的工作状态,支持USB故障记录导出,支持datalog下载。配置RS485,SNMP等多种通讯方式,可近端管理,也可以远程监控,支持华为NetEco1000U和NetEco6000监控平台。多台UPS并机可以共用一张SNMP卡进行通讯访问,并且可能通过NetEco进行分组管理,使用在不同机房,不同地理位置的UPS可以通过分组方式,实现直观的管理。还支持短信、E-mail等当今通讯方式发送告警,无论维护人员可管理人员身在何处,都可以实时通知客户。
