9月19日上午消息（刘畅 蒋均牧）世界级的大会需要世界级的通信服务，上海铁塔携手三家运营商为17-19日正式在沪召开的2018世界人工智能大会提供了服务保障。

作为上海举办的全球性人工智能高端会议，本次大会以"人工智能赋能新时代"为主题，以"国际化、高端化、专业化"为特色，集聚了全球人工智能领域最具影响力的科学家、企业家和相关政府领导人，围绕人工智能领域的技术前沿、产业趋势和热点问题发表演讲和进行高端对话，打造世界顶尖的人工智能合作交流平台，推动和主导人工智能产业和技术创新融合发展。

为确保本次大会的顺利召开，上海铁塔携手三家运营商对大会区域统一进行站址规划，并负责选址和建设，此模式得到了市通管局、市经信委和社会各方的高度评价。共计新建9个室外宏基站（4个新建、5个共享改造）、16个微站、4个室分场馆，在工期紧、协调难度大、工程质量要求高的前提下，上海铁塔南区分公司团队克服高温、台风等各种不利因素，连续加班加点、通宵施工，最终圆满完成了本次大会通信建设的所有交付任务。

在大会召开的徐汇滨江核心区域内，上海铁塔为大会量身打造了一座标志性美化基站通信塔"魔方塔"。虽然这座极具现代感的塔不大，但却集约了三家运营商的通信设备于一身，此外还可拓展展板、广告等功能，既体现了美观性，又充分展现了经济性和社会共享理念。
