9月13日,天翼智能生态博览会在广州市广交会展馆开幕,华为在广州现网展示了面向商用的5G独立部署(SA)网络,开展了包括5G切片和AR辅助远程维修在内的多项业务演示。端到端的5G独立部署(SA)真实网络环境演示在全球还属首次。

在本次博览会上,AR辅助远程维修演示吸引了大量的目光。戴上AR眼镜,工作台上的发动机旁边自动浮现出发动机内部细节的3D模型,随着用户视线焦点的移动,还不时跳出悬浮的小贴士,提示零件的功能等信息。使用“呼叫专家”功能,AR眼镜所看到的场景可以实时共享给维修专家,专家通过手机或平板电脑即可指导佩戴者进行维修操作。

在AR辅助远程维修业务中,AR眼镜将拍摄到的视频实时传输到云端的AR视频渲染服务器,服务器对视频场景进行识别,并将所需的虚拟影像叠加到真实场景上,再把渲染生成的新视频实时传回至AR眼镜。这一“上传——处理——下载”的过程不仅消耗较大的上行带宽和下行带宽,还要求传输时延必须足够低,才能满足实时交互的需求,让用户有良好的体验。

体验保障需要依靠切片技术来支撑,5G网络切片是在统一的5G物理网络上切割出来的逻辑专网,由5G核心网对整个切片的生成进行控制,不同的切片对应不同的带宽、时延、业务优先级、移动性等连接属性,并采用不同的计费方式,从而满足5G时代各种业务的差异化需求。比如连接传感器的物联网、用于自动驾驶的车联网和用于AR/VR视频的多媒体网络,它们所需的连接特性和计费方式显然具有很大差异。

在AR切片中,5G核心网的控制面和转发面采用“转控分离”的分布式部署方式,控制面部署在中心节点,转发面下沉部署到接近用户的网络边缘,并将视频渲染服务随转发面一起下沉式部署,从而保障<50毫秒的端到端传输时延。转发模块增加“单用户大带宽特性”,保障上行90M、下行200M的带宽;会话管理模块增加“大带宽管理特性”,为用户分配足够容量的转发模块,承载网和无线网分别建立独立连接和专有承载,端到端保障AR切片的服务质量。

With the call specialist function, the scene seen by AR glasses can be shared with the maintenance specialist in real time, and the specialist can direct the wearer to carry out the maintenance operation through the mobile phone or tablet computer.

In AR-assisted remote maintenance service, AR glasses transmit the captured video to the AR video rendering server on the cloud in real time. The server recognizes the video scene and superimposes the required virtual image on the real scene. Then the new video generated by the rendering is transmitted back to AR glasses in real time.  This "upload-process-download" process not only consumes large upstream and downstream bandwidth, but also requires that the transmission delay must be low enough to meet the needs of real-time interaction, so that users have a good experience.

Experience security needs to be supported by slicing technology. 5G network slicing is a logical private network cut out on a unified 5G physical network. The whole slicing is controlled by 5G core network. Different slices correspond to different connection attributes such as bandwidth, delay, priority and mobility, and different billing parties are used. To meet the differentiated needs of various businesses in the 5G era. For example, the Internet of Things connecting sensors, the Internet of Vehicles for Autopilot, and the multimedia network for AR/VR video are obviously very different in connection characteristics and billing methods.

In AR slicing, the control and forwarding surfaces of 5G core network are deployed in a distributed manner of "separation of control and forwarding". The control faces are deployed in the central node, and the forwarding surfaces sink to the network edge close to the user. The video rendering services are deployed sinking along with the forwarding surfaces, thus guaranteeing the end-to-end transmission delay of less than 50 milliseconds. The forwarding module adds the "single-user large bandwidth characteristic" to guarantee the bandwidth of the upstream 90M and the downstream 200M; the session management module adds the "large bandwidth management characteristic" to allocate the forwarding module with sufficient capacity for the users, and the bearer network and the wireless network establish independent connections and proprietary bearers respectively to ensure the quality of service of AR slices end to end.
