从无锡东高铁站坐出租车去“2018世界物联网博览会”（以下简称物博会）会场的路上，司机随口问了我一句：“什么是物联网？ ”我竟一时语塞,是给他重复一遍物联网的标准定义？还是长篇大论举例解释？最后，我有些敷衍地回答他：“地铁不用买票直接刷卡进站、无人商店自助采购、自动驾驶，这些就是物联网。”

“物联网”这个字眼对于大家来说可能并不陌生，但是物联网的边界到底在哪里？物联网能给我们的工作和生活带来怎样不同凡响的变化？

笔者是第一次来无锡参加物博会，内心充满期待，希望在令人眼花缭乱的展览展示中，看到些不一样，或者有一次不同于以往的体验。

在著名小说《格列佛游记》中，主人公经历了大人国、小人国，看到了千奇百怪的人和事。走入物博会展馆，就像走进《格列佛游记》的场景中，目不暇接，不由得产生了在不同物联网应用场景中探秘的冲动。穿梭于华为以“+物联·新经济”为主题的展示区，虽然展区面积不大，但是将物联网的主要应用场景都进行了呈现，智慧城市、智能制造、智慧园区、边缘计算、车联网、5G等，像是进入了一个微缩的“物联国”。

万物互联、万物智能，这是物联网构筑的美好世界。与云计算、大数据、人工智能等新技术一样，物联网不仅是一种基本支撑，更是一种基因，渗透进不同行业、不同应用场景之中，在不知不觉中颠覆了整个社会经济和生活。

华为“+物联·新经济”展台展示内容极为丰富，在有限的篇幅中很难一一详述，在此只撷取“三个一”，以管窥豹。

“一个平台”，承上启下

物联网无处不在，其复杂性、多样化超过以往任何一种系统和应用。如何才能抓住物联网的“魂”？企业数字化转型需要一个联通上下的物联网平台。

在华为展区的中央位置，一辆红色跑车格外引入瞩目，围观的人群还不时传来惊呼和赞叹声。这台模拟驾驶跑车可以让参观者体验基于LTE-V2X技术的智能驾驶场景。

交通产业涉及面广，各行各业均有介入，同时标准和业务内容五花八门，但又缺少“杀手级”应用。智慧交通就是要彻底改变传统系统复杂、部署时间长、依赖政策导向等弊端。

On the way from Wuxi East High-speed Railway Station to the venue of the World Expo of Things (hereinafter referred to as the World Expo of Things), the driver casually asked me, "What is the Internet of Things?" I was temporarily tongue tied, to repeat to him the standard definition of the Internet of things. Or is it a long winded example? Finally, I perfunctorily answered him, "The subway doesn't have to pay for tickets to enter the station directly by swiping cards, no one stores to buy their own goods, and drive automatically. These are the Internet of Things."

The word "Internet of Things" may be familiar to everyone, but where exactly is the boundary of the Internet of Things? What extraordinary changes can the Internet of things bring to our work and life?

The author is the first time to attend the Wuxi Museum, full of expectations, hoping to see something different in the dazzling exhibition, or have a different experience.

In the famous novel Gulliver's Travels, the protagonist has experienced the kingdom of the adults and the kingdom of the lesser, and has seen a thousand strange people and things. Walking into the exhibition hall is like walking into the scenes of Gulliver's Travels, and you can't help but feel the urge to explore the mysteries of different Internet of Things applications. Shuttling through Huawei's exhibition area with the theme of'+ IOT and New Economy', although the exhibition area is not large, the main application scenarios of the Internet of Things are presented. Smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, smart parks, edge computing, car networking, 5G, etc. seem to have entered a miniature "United States of Things".

Everything is interconnected and everything is intelligent. This is the beautiful world constructed by the Internet of things. Like cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and other new technologies, the Internet of Things is not only a basic support, but also a gene, penetrating into different industries, different application scenarios, unconsciously subverting the entire social economy and life.

Huawei's exhibition of "New Economy + Material Federation" is extremely rich, and it is difficult to elaborate one by one in a limited space. Here we only capture "Three Ones" to catch a glimpse of the leopard.

"A platform" is the link between the preceding and the following.

The Internet of things is everywhere, its complexity and diversification are more than any other system and application. How can we seize the "soul" of the Internet of things? The transformation of enterprises needs a platform of Internet of things.

Huawei Ocean Connect Internet of Things platform aggregates a variety of data, for heterogeneous capabilities, data storage and analysis capabilities put forward higher requirements. Simple CPU has been unable to meet the complex scenarios of intelligent applications, as well as the processing and analysis of massive data needs, equipped with GPU heterogeneous servers began to prevail. For example, a problem previously solved with 100 x86 servers now requires only 10 heterogeneous servers. Huawei can provide a general heterogeneous server platform, but also for intelligent video analysis and other professional application scenarios to provide optimized solutions.

In the center of Huawei's exhibition area, a red sports car attracted special attention, and the crowds of onlookers occasionally heard exclamations and exclamations. This simulated driving sports car allows visitors to experience the intelligent driving scene based on LTE-V2X technology.

The transportation industry covers a wide range of areas, all walks of life are involved, while standards and business content are varied, but the lack of "killer" application.  Intelligent transportation is to completely change the traditional system complexity, long deployment time, dependence on Policy-Oriented drawbacks.

LTE-V2X is a proprietary protocol for vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-road, vehicle-to-network, and vehicle-to-human communication based on 4G technology, with LTE cellular network as the basis of V2X.
